The only tricky part is transporting the cattle panel from the store, but if you have access to a truck it is simple. You can form the arch in the bed of the truck and the cattle panel stays nice and snug. I was surprised how quick the install was! You really shouldn’t have any problems doing it in less than 30 minutes. I spaced my arch 5 feet apart but any distance 4-6 feet apart should work great. The standard width of cattle panel is 50 inches (just over 4 feet wide) but there are other panel types that are a bit skinnier if you don’t have that much space. #tinygarden #smallspacegardening #trellis | Real Farmer Jeff | Facebook

Apply PVC primer to the ends of the pipes and the inside of the fittings. Allow the primer to dry for a few seconds, then apply PVC cement to the primed surfaces. Assemble the pipes and fittings, ensuring a tight and secure connection. Allow the cement to cure for the recommended time before handling the pipes.

Installing the Garden Hoops

Once the PVC pipes are cut and assembled, it's time to install the garden hoops. Mark the locations where the hoops will be placed, ensuring they are evenly spaced and provide adequate support for your plants. Use stakes or other anchoring methods to secure the hoops to the ground.

AD

Position the PVC pipes according to your design, connecting them with elbow fittings or tees as needed. Ensure the hoops are stable and well-supported, making any necessary adjustments to the anchoring points. Allow the PVC cement to cure completely before using the garden hoops.

Caring for PVC Garden Hoops

With proper care and maintenance, your PVC garden hoops can last for many years. Here are some tips to keep your garden hoops looking and functioning their best:

Regular Cleaning: Clean the PVC pipes with mild soap and water to remove dirt and debris. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials that could damage the pipes.

Inspect for Damage

Periodically inspect the garden hoops for signs of damage, such as cracks or leaks. Address any issues promptly to prevent further damage and maintain the structural integrity of the hoops.

Store Properly: If you live in an area with harsh winters, consider disassembling and storing the PVC garden hoops during the cold months. This will help extend their lifespan and prevent damage from extreme temperatures.

Embrace the versatility and durability of PVC pipes for garden hoops, and create a functional and attractive outdoor space that complements your garden's aesthetic. With proper installation and care, your PVC garden hoops will provide years of enjoyment and support for your plants.
