Beyond fan art, many 'nerd boys' use Pinterest to share their original characters and stories. These range from detailed character designs to full-fledged comic strips or graphic novels. Some even create entire worlds, complete with maps, lore, and artwork, all shared through their Pinterest boards.

Pinterest's 'secret boards' feature also allows these artists to work on their projects in private, sharing them only with select followers or the wider community once they're ready. This provides a safe space for 'nerd boys' to experiment and grow as artists.
