Two Truths and a Lie

In this classic icebreaker game, each participant shares two true statements about themselves and one false statement. The goal is for the other players to guess which statement is the lie. This game encourages active listening and can reveal surprising and interesting facts about your colleagues.

To make it more festive, you can incorporate holiday-themed lies, such as "I've been on the nice list every year since I was born" or "I've never watched a single holiday movie."

Holiday Charades

Put a holiday twist on the classic game of charades by using festive themes, movies, songs, and traditions. Divide your guests into teams and have them act out holiday-related words or phrases without speaking while their team tries to guess the answer.

Some holiday charades ideas include "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer," "Frosty the Snowman," "Deck the Halls," or even iconic holiday movie scenes like "Home Alone" or "A Christmas Story."

Competitive Team-Building Games

These team-building games will not only entertain your guests but also promote collaboration, communication, and problem-solving skills among your team members.

Incorporating team-building activities into your holiday party can help strengthen bonds between colleagues and create a more cohesive work environment. Plus, a little friendly competition never hurt anyone!

Escape the North Pole

Create a holiday-themed escape room experience where teams must solve puzzles and riddles to help Santa and his elves escape the North Pole before a massive snowstorm hits. This game encourages critical thinking, teamwork, and communication as teams race against the clock to free Santa and his helpers.

You can set up the escape room in a conference room or designated area, and provide each team with a set of clues and puzzles to solve. To make it more challenging, you can incorporate holiday-themed obstacles and riddles that require knowledge of festive traditions and lore.

Gingerbread House Decorating Contest

Divide your guests into teams and provide each group with a gingerbread house kit, icing, and an assortment of candies and decorations. The goal is for each team to create the most creative and festive gingerbread house within a set time limit.

After the time is up, have each team present their gingerbread house to the group, explaining their design and any unique features. Then, let the other guests vote for their favorite gingerbread house. This game encourages creativity, teamwork, and friendly competition, all while enjoying a classic holiday activity.

Create custom holiday-themed bingo cards featuring festive symbols, icons, and words related to the season. You can use online tools to generate bingo cards or create them manually using holiday-themed clip art and images.

Call out the bingo squares one at a time, and have your guests mark off the corresponding square on their card if they have it. The first player to get a line (horizontal, vertical, or diagonal) and shout "Bingo!" wins a prize. To make it more engaging, you can offer small prizes for each line and a grand prize for a full card.
