Harriet's Rooftop Jobs: Top Opportunities Await

Ever dreamt of turning an ordinary rooftop into a thriving workspace or a lush green oasis? Welcome to Harriet's Rooftop Jobs, your one-stop solution for transforming underutilized rooftop spaces into functional, sustainable, and aesthetically pleasing environments. Based in the heart of New York City, our company specializes in rooftop gardening, green roof installation, and rooftop event planning, breathing life into the urban landscape one rooftop at a time.

With a growing demand for sustainable and eco-friendly practices in urban areas, rooftop spaces have emerged as a valuable resource. They offer a unique opportunity to create green spaces, improve energy efficiency, and enhance the overall quality of life in cities. At Harriet's Rooftop Jobs, we understand the potential of rooftops and are dedicated to helping building owners, businesses, and residents unlock their full potential.

Rooftop Gardening and Green Roof Installation

Our core services revolve around transforming rooftops into thriving gardens and green roofs. We believe that every rooftop, regardless of its size or location, can contribute to a greener, healthier city.

We work closely with our clients to design and install customized green roofs that not only look great but also provide numerous benefits. These include improved insulation, reduced energy costs, better stormwater management, and enhanced biodiversity. Our team of experts is well-versed in various green roof systems, from extensive, lightweight roofs to intensive, park-like spaces.

Extensive Green Roofs

Extensive green roofs are lightweight, low-maintenance systems designed for flat or slightly pitched rooftops. They typically feature a thin layer of growing medium and hardy, drought-resistant plants, making them ideal for commercial buildings and urban environments with limited resources.

Some popular plant species for extensive green roofs include sedums, mosses, and grasses. These plants require minimal water and nutrients, making them perfect for rooftops with limited irrigation systems. Our team can help you select the right plant palette to ensure your extensive green roof thrives in its unique urban environment.

Intensive Green Roofs

Intensive green roofs are designed to support a diverse range of plant life, including trees, shrubs, and even vegetables. These roofs are typically deeper and heavier than extensive roofs, requiring a robust structure and additional support. However, they offer unparalleled opportunities for creating lush, verdant spaces in the heart of the city.

Intensive green roofs can be designed as recreational spaces, complete with seating areas, pathways, and even outdoor kitchens. They provide invaluable habitats for local wildlife and contribute to improved air quality. Our team works closely with clients to create intensive green roofs that not only look stunning but also serve a practical purpose.

Rooftop Event Planning and Management

In addition to transforming rooftops into green spaces, Harriet's Rooftop Jobs also specializes in event planning and management. We understand that a beautifully designed rooftop is the perfect setting for a wide range of events, from corporate functions to intimate weddings.
