Transform your home into a spooktacular spectacle this Halloween with a DIY wreath crafted from dollar store finds. Not only is this project budget-friendly, but it's also an excellent way to express your creativity and add a personal touch to your holiday decor. Let's dive into some terrifyingly terrific ideas to create your own DIY Halloween wreath using items from your local dollar store.

Before you embark on your crafting adventure, gather your supplies. A basic wreath form, floral wire, scissors, and hot glue gun are essential tools. For embellishments, raid the dollar store aisles for items like plastic spiders, pumpkins, ghosts, and other Halloween-themed trinkets. Don't forget to pick up some fake leaves, flowers, or vines to add a touch of nature to your wreath.

Classic Halloween Themes

Embrace the traditional ghosts and goblins of Halloween with a classic-themed wreath. Start by wrapping your wreath form with fake vines or leaves, securing them with floral wire. Then, hot glue an assortment of plastic pumpkins, ghosts, and spiders around the wreath, layering them for a full look.

For an added touch, create a ghostly garland using white felt or cheesecloth. Cut out ghost shapes, draw on simple faces with a black marker, and string them together with clear fishing line. Drape the garland around your wreath and secure it with floral wire.

Monochromatic Magic

Create a sleek and sophisticated Halloween wreath by sticking to a single color scheme. Choose from black and white, deep reds, or haunting purples. Use a combination of plastic flowers, leaves, and Halloween-themed items in your chosen color palette.

This is exactly why you never throw anything away. Some people have a junk drawer. I have a junk room. Gorgeous. These aren't really part of the look that I'm growing for. I'm going to sniff them off. Okay, last one. Here we go. Heads are going to roll this Halloween decor. First, we're going to start. We're going to put some hot glue on the bottom of his head and we're going to attach him to the pool noodle. We're going to want to hold it there until we know that it has attached before moving on to the next one. So, now, I'm going to take these cute little stems and I'm going to snip them off like so and you'll see what we're going to do next. You're always going to want to hold on to these. You're going to need them later and you'll see why. You're going to want to take your time with this one because you want to make sure you place these somewhere that makes sense for the end product and moving to the next. You're just going to go all the way around placing these Guys, I want to use something different for the next one. I'm going to stick him in right here and I'm going to put his little sister right next to him. Okay, we're going to come on in and we're going to place our last flower on this wreath and we're going to move on to those clippings that we had from earlier. We're going to show you what to do with 'em now. Put this guy right in here. See how they pop in really easily because of that pool noodle and then, we're going to move inside. We want some greenery inside the wreath. Put it in at an angle. We're going to put one over here so I'm going to take some of this foliage I want to put it into the pool noodle so that you cannot see any of that pool noodle what I'm going to have to do is poke a hole in it though because it won't puncture it so I use this guy bore it out a little bit and then I'll stick it right in that hole that I created just like so now we're going to go down to this little table wreath and we're going to add a little possess to our skulls like so and we're going to work all the way around the wreath until all of the skulls have two glittery rosy eye I almost forgot my twinkle lights. I'm going to take the sky and I'm going to just thread him through between the flowers and the skulls. I would go all the way around the wreath but there's no need and I'll have more of the light on the top. I'm going to light my favorite candle, my white pumpkin. What is your favorite fall candle? Now, we're going to take this candle. We're going to sit it right in the middle. This looks really nice in the evening but like I said before, you can hang this on your door as a wreath. I prefer it in the as a centerpiece. How cute is that?
