Core Sets and Starter Expansions

The foundation of your DC Deck-Building Game collection lies in the core sets and starter expansions. These sets provide the essential rules, components, and a starting deck for your hero.

Starting with the original "DC Deck-Building Game" core set, you'll be introduced to the basic mechanics of the game. This set includes 200 cards and allows you to play as one of four iconic DC heroes: Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, or The Flash.

Crisis Expansion Packs

The Crisis Expansion Packs are the first major expansions for the DC Deck-Building Game. These packs introduce new heroes, villains, and challenges, as well as additional cards to enhance your deck.

Each Crisis Expansion Pack focuses on a specific crisis, such as "The Shattered Glass Crisis" or "The Dark Crisis." These crises add unique twists to the game, forcing players to adapt their strategies. Additionally, these packs introduce new heroes like Green Lantern, Aquaman, and Cyborg, as well as iconic villains like Lex Luthor, Darkseid, and The Joker.

Hero and Villain Packs

Hero and Villain Packs are smaller expansions that focus on a single hero or villain, providing a new starting deck and additional cards to enhance your collection.

These packs allow you to explore the DC universe from different perspectives. Some popular Hero Packs include "Green Arrow" and "The Flash," while Villain Packs like "The Joker" and "The Penguin" offer sinister alternatives. Each pack comes with a unique oversized card that represents the hero or villain in the game.

Larger Expansions and Box Sets

For those looking to expand their DC Deck-Building Game experience even further, larger expansions and box sets offer a wealth of new content.

One notable example is the "Fortress of Solitude" expansion. This set introduces a new, three-dimensional board representing Superman's iconic home. The board provides new challenges and rewards, adding a tactile element to the game.

Reality Falls

"Reality Falls" is a significant expansion that introduces a new, modular game board representing the twisted, alternate reality of the same name. This expansion features new heroes, villains, and challenges, as well as a unique twist on the game's core mechanics.

Players can explore different areas of Reality Falls, each with its own set of rules and rewards. This expansion also introduces the concept of "reality warping," allowing players to manipulate the game state in unprecedented ways.

Super-Villain Team-Up

The "Super-Villain Team-Up" expansion takes the DC Deck-Building Game in a different direction by pitting players against a team of villains working together. This expansion features a new, cooperative gameplay mode, as well as additional cards and challenges for the competitive mode.

In the cooperative mode, players work together to defeat a team of super-villains, each with its own unique abilities and weaknesses. This expansion encourages teamwork and communication, offering a fresh take on the DC Deck-Building Game experience.
